Owner Financing (sometimes called “Seller Financing”) is when the buyer in a transaction gets financing directly from the seller. The seller becomes the “bank”!
Why is this important today? Owner or Seller Financing can make a sale happen where it might not happen in our current economy. It is TOUGH to get regular financing from banks right now. Seller Financing can provide the financing for a deal that might otherwise just sit there.
Seller Financing also usually helps the seller get more money from their sale. In fact, Seller Financing is often even better for the seller than it is for the buyer. It is still very good for the buyer, as they don’t have to go through the regular red tape and hassles that come with a traditional bank loan.
I recently recorded 20 short videos about Seller Financing where I answered 20 of the common questions I hear about this topic. Check out the videos at www.OwnerFinancingAnswers.com.

Heard the first part of your presentation on Duncan Wierman’s Webinar last night but couldn’t stay to the end. Is there a “link” to your presentation. I am most interested to hear more about our friends “the banks”.
Thanks much,
Ted Boatwright
Ted - We are working on getting a replay of that “Bank Seller Financing” Webinar up soon. I’ll email you when it is up!
