Justification vs. Resolution

Justify: to defend or uphold as warranted or well-grounded

In moments of true reflection, I often find myself deluding reality with optimism and justifying my circumstances by setting goals or redefining my success. This compromise of potential and reality gives me a temporary feeling of contentment and hope. These feelings are always short lived and I begin a bitter cycle of justification, not seeing things for what they really are and what they could be. I begin to react to the environment around me and I soon lose control.

Resolve: to come to a definite or earnest decision about; determine (to do something)

To resolve is to determine to follow through and make something happen. There are no compromises. A commitment to resole leaves no room for justification. Resolution is not contingent on other factors!

It doesn’t matter how well our goals, aspirations or red button statements are written or spoken if we don’t resolve to make them happen.

In 2007 I resolved to leave behind everything limiting in my life. I was relentless in making big changes that included my employment, family, education and success. My search for passion and vision led me to The Mike Watson Institute. I am grateful to be out of my justification cycle and experiencing life without limits, increased love within my home, knowledge that has unleashed my abilities and success that I am sharing!

My Resolutions

In 2008 I am committed to continue in this journey and I am resolving to do it through the following:

1. Sharing my passion- I will post on the forum every week!
2. Continuing my education with MWI. Without education, nothing changes, so I will be at every event possible!
3. Applying everything. Knowledge requires action, so I will apply every process and system Mike provides so that market trends don’t matter, justification has no place and I am in complete control of my future and potential!

I resolve, I resolve, I resolve, I RESOLVE!!!
